Paige Wyatt is a Healer, an Aerialist, a Yogi, a Poet and a Painter. Paige began painting in 2007 as a way to heal the perfectionism she had recognized was a barrier to a more fulfilling life. Choosing watercolor because it's harder to control, seems to have a mind of it's own and isn't easy to go back and “fix” was, in her mind, the way to practice letting go. Through this process she developed a styler of allowing the painting create itself, letting the paint mix on the paper, seeing where the paint wanted to go and relaxing into that. She will admit there are many paintings that end up in a drawer with this method! In recent years she has been exploring the relationship between creation and anxiety relief. For her, there is a direct correlation. She feels anxious, she paints, she feels better. She is also amazed that a less than desirable feeling can produce paintings that exhibit beauty and joy of the world around her. Perhaps it is the deeper reflection of the true nature of her spirit.
