Participant Information/Support

The application window to participate as an artist in the 2013 Open Studios Art Tour in San Luis Obispo County is open until April 30 (April 19 without penalty).

As an Open Studios participant, you are also a member of ARTS Obispo and will need to follow these instructions to be included in the Visual Artist Directory. The Visual Artist Directory is a benefit of your membership.  You must fill out a submission form, and submit images via Email (separate from your Open Studios CD) to get your work on the Visual Artist Directory. TIMELINE:

April 1: Early Bird Ad Deadline

April 19: Applications Deadline

April 30: Application Deadline (with late fee)

May 24: Ad Reservations Deadline

June: Catalog Proofing (required) - June 25 & 26 from 12noon to 6pm

July - Septemeber: Personalized Postcard Appointments

August: Preparation Workshop, Marketing Workshop - dates TBA

September 1: Artist packets available for pick up (these include: directional signs, catalog(s) and brochures)

October 4: Kick-Off Party during Art After Dark - details TBA

October 12-13: First Weekend of the 2013 Open Studios Art Tour

October 19-20: Second Weekend of the 2013 Open Studios Art Tour
